About
Located at The Tiger, 245 Wick Rd in London, Eko Bar & Restaurant is a vibrant dining establishment that promises to deliver an authentic taste of home for its guests. As you step inside, you’re greeted by an inviting ambiance that combines warm aesthetics with lively music, particularly on weekends. The overall vibe sets a perfect stage for a delightful culinary journey.
One of the standout features of Eko is their commitment to offering a diverse menu enriched with traditional dishes. Customers rave about the Nkwobi and jollof rice, two dishes that encapsulate the rich flavors of West African cuisine. Emmanuel Nwatu’s heartfelt review reflects this sentiment, emphasizing how the food and atmosphere made him feel at home. It’s a place where every meal feels like a warm embrace, and where the flavors resonate with familiarity.
What truly sets Eko apart from the crowd is not only their tasty offerings but also their remarkable service. As Tee Miles noted, even at late hours, the restaurant maintains an impressive availability of dishes, ensuring that cravings don’t go unmet. Such reliability in service enhances the overall dining experience, allowing guests to enjoy their meals without the common frustrations found in other eateries.
Whether you’re after a leisurely dinner, a lively night out, or a late-night snack, Eko delivers. On Fridays and Saturdays, the live music performance adds an electrifying layer, turning an ordinary dinner into an extraordinary event. However, a piece of friendly advice: if you prefer a quieter corner, consider avoiding the seats near the speakers, as mentioned by Deji Akinsanmi!
From my experience, dining at Eko is a delightful affair that invites you to indulge in remarkable flavors while being surrounded by a welcoming atmosphere. The price point is perfectly balanced, making it accessible without sacrificing quality. Although a few patrons have noted minor issues with drink orders, Eko more than compensates with their exceptional food quality and attentive service.
In essence, Eko Bar & Restaurant stands out as a must-visit for anyone in London looking to explore authentic cuisine and enjoy a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s not just a meal; it's an experience that truly resonates, leaving you eager for your next visit.

“ Eko Restaurant came to our rescue when we were on the hunt for jollof rice because two other restaurants didn't have. One thing I appreciate about this restaurant is that, they had all meals on their menu available even though we came at 9pm and they had parking. The food arrived within reasonable time and the meals were very tasty. First time here, definitely not the last. ”
“ Good for a nice night out with live music on Fridays and Saturdays. If you're going to sit close to the loud speakers front, I'll suggest wearing earplugs to lessen the volume!! ”

“ Great restaurant, lovely meal, amazing flavours. You’ll leave with full bellies and happy wallets. The price point is perfect. They are a little stingy with the drinks and also made a mistake with one of the drinks we ordered which they rectified but still charged for. Only downside. ”
